About Enn Taant

Enn Taant means tent in Michif; it’s also the name of our camping company based in Southern Manitoba. As a company, Enn Taant has always been passionate about camping and exploring Manitoba’s wilderness.
It is a Manitoban rite of passage to go camping. We should all have the opportunity to sit around a campfire while sharing campfire stories and sparks fly. You can’t beat sneaking out of a tent in the morning to discover a dewy, sunny, peaceful campsite before the rest of the world opens its eyes.
Enn Taant is a 100% female, Metis-owned business. Our work is mainly based on Treaty One Territory but can extend to Treaty Two and Treaty Three. These are the ancestral lands of the Anishinaabeg, Anishininewuk, Dakota Oyate, Denesuline, and Nehethowuk Nations and the Homeland of the Metis Nation.
Winnipeg sources drinking water from Shoal Lake First Nation. This is a First Nations community that was displaced and moved to a man-made island and is still facing issues with adequate access to clean drinking water.
